This session explored how to enhance your dance movements or help dance students improve their performance. Teaching included natural, organic, and healthy ways to increase hip flexibility without straining your body.
During the session, Eric Franklin demonstrated some example exercises to gain greater understanding of alternatives to stretching for flexibility. He also discussed why the Franklin Method emphasizes mental imagery and offered pointers for how to teach dancers to use mental imagery.
