Canadian Authors

Human Kinetics has proudly maintained an office in Canada for over 35 years, in Windsor Ontario.  Canada has been home to hundreds of HK authors across many of the fields of physical activity research, practice, and consumer use that Human Kinetics serves.  We are happy to present below the full collection of resources with a Canadian lead author or editor, where clicking on each will bring you to additional resource formats such as ebook or continuing education courses for the same product.  Many other HK resources found throughout the website include valuable chapter and content contributions by Canadians.

As a partner in the Canadian market, HK Canada has collaborated with many leading Canadian organizations since opening in 1990, currently including canfitpro, PHE Canada, Coaches Association of Ontario, Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, among others.  HK Canada serves as a vendor partner to leading Canadian retailers such as Indigo, Canada's college and university bookstores, and many independent retailers from coast to coast.  Additionally, HK Canada has supported countless Canadian sport, fitness, and wellness events, organizations, and clubs by donating resources, gift certificates, and promotional support.
