How to Access Your Web Resources/Ancillaries on the Legacy System
Please visit My E-Products to access your web resources/ancillaries. You may be prompted to login to your account on that site. Below are guiding steps for accessing your digital products.
For Returning Users
- If you only need to access digital products that you already purchased, skip to step 5 and login with your existing email and password.
- If you are purchasing new products, we recommend that you register on the new Us.HumanKinetics.com using the same email address and password which you have currently been using.
- If you have already registered with a different password, you can still reset your password by clicking 'My account' in the top left-hand corner and then choosing 'Reset Password' from the left menu.
- If you choose to register with a different password, just remember that your new password will enable you to purchase products on Us.HumanKinetics.com, but your existing password will be needed to access your digital products. Wherever you are prompted to login, you may always click on the Forgot Password? link for help.
For New Users
- When purchasing a digital product from our website (Us.HumanKinetics.com), you will receive an automatic confirmation email. (Please also check your spam folder if you don't see it.)
- The email will contain a temporary password and a link to access your purchased digital products.
- Login to HumanKinetics.com.
- Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
- Access your digital products by clicking on the link in the email or by going to HumanKinetics.com/my-eproducts.
A number of Human Kinetics ancillary sites are in the process of being retired. To download materials from one of these sites, follow the steps below:
- Please start at the ancillary website with the materials you are looking to archive. The URLs for legacy HK ancillary websites are structured like this: www.HumanKinetics.com/BookTitleNoSpacesOrPunctuation
- Ensure you are signed in by verifying your name in the upper left-hand corner of the page. It should say "Hello" followed by your first name. If you are not signed in, click on "Sign in" in the upper left corner of the page.
- In the upper left corner below the Human Kinetics Logo, there is a blue bar labeled "Ancillary Items" with subcategories under it. Depending on the textbook, there may be several subcategories, but you will most commonly see "Image Bank" or "Instructor Guide" or "Test Package." Click on the first of the categories.
- Once you have clicked on the category, you will see several options in the middle lower part of the page. Depending on your web browser, they may be highlighted by a blue color.
- Click on the first of the materials to save.
- Depending on the format of the file, it may be automatically downloaded by your web browser or it may be opened up by the appropriate default program
- If it is opened by the default program, please "Save" or "Save as" to save the file in an easy-to-find location.
- If it is saved by your browser but not opened, it is likely saved in your "my downloads" folder.
- Click on the next of the materials and repeat step 6 and the sub-steps.
- Locate each of these files and save or move them to an easy-to-find location of your choice.
- Once you have completed saving each of the files, select the next category of ancillary material on the list in the upper left corner and repeat steps 6-8 until complete.

If you do not have an HKPropel account
- Create an account on HKPropel.
- Enter your HKPropel access code in the Access Code field on the registration page.
If you have an existing HKPropel account
- Log in to your HKPropel account.
- On the top right, click on the arrow next to Welcome and then click on Account.
- Enter your HKPropel access code and then click on Add.
We will email your HKPropel access code after you place an order for an HKPropel digital product on Us.HumanKinetics.com. Check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.
If your instructor uses HKPropel to assign work to your class, you will need to enter a class enrollment token in HKPropel on the My Account page. This token will be provided by your instructor at no cost to you, but it is required in addition to the unique access code you received when you purchased a new print book or a digital product on the Human Kinetics website.
How to enter your Class Enrollment Token
- Log in to your HKPropel account.
- On the top right, click on the arrow next to Welcome and then click on Account.
- Enter your class enrollment token and then click on Add.
An access code is provided to you when you purchase a new print book or loose-leaf edition that includes an HKPropel digital product, when you purchase an ebook with HKPropel Access on the Human Kinetics website, or when you purchase an ebook on select non-HK ebook websites (like Amazon, RedShelf, and VitalSource).
A class enrollment token is free, and is provided to you directly by your instructor. You need a class enrollment token in order to affiliate with your instructor’s class within HKPropel, and in order to see assignments that your instructor assigns to you in HKPropel. Contact your instructor for the class enrollment token for your course.
First, check if your digital product is on HKPropel by referring to this list.
- If your product is on the HKPropel list, follow the instructions under "HOW DO I REDEEM AN HKPROPEL ACCESS CODE" to access your product.
- If your product is not on the HKPropel list, follow these steps for redeeming your key code.
If you purchased a used print book, the access code or key code included in the book will no longer unlock the online materials.

Human Kinetics is pleased to introduce HKPropel, a new ancillary delivery and e-learning platform! The new platform offers the same ancillary components we currently produce but is more modern and will help us offer additional new ancillary tools, such as free ebooks for instructors.
To access your instructor ancillaries through HKPropel, you must contact a sales representative. Your sales representative will email you an access code along with instructions on how to create an account and navigate the site for the first time.
As we complete our transition to HKPropel, some existing product ancillaries will continue to be hosted in our legacy system. If your instructor ancillaries are not yet available on HKPropel, you can access them through My E-Products. Please contact a sales representative to gain access to the relevant platform for your instructor ancillaries.
Check to see if your ancillary products are available on HKPropel!
While you can download some ancillary content from HKPropel, unfortunately, HKPropel does not allow for you to download your book.
