Effective spring 2019, all Human Kinetics ebooks are delivered through VitalSource Bookshelf—a modern, secure ebook platform. After purchasing an ebook, you'll receive a code that can be redeemed through the Bookshelf website (using a VitalSource account).
Once the ebook code is redeemed, you'll have access to all the Bookshelf benefits:
Smoothly navigate to your Human Kinetics ebook within moments of purchase.
Bookshelf syncs your last page read, bookmarks, notes, and highlights across devices so you can always pick up where you left off.
You can download your ebook if you wish to use it without Internet access, or you can keep it on the app to save memory on your device.
The Read Aloud feature uses a text-to-speech tool so you don't have to do all the reading (unless you want to).
The search tool allows you to look for a topic across your entire collection of ebooks.
