To assist students using the text, Fitness and Wellness: A Way of Life has related online learning tools delivered through HKPropel. These activities provide students the opportunity to engage with smaller chunks of content through various multimedia elements, making the learning environment more conducive to today’s college student. Forty-eight video clips demonstrate proper exercise technique, and practical learning activities provide real-life context to the materials. Lab activities for each chapter guide students in completing individual assessments, setting goals, and identifying the pros and cons of modifying their behavior. The labs may be assigned by instructors and tracked within HKPropel, and chapter quizzes (assessments) that are automatically graded may also be assigned to gauge student comprehension of the content.
A code for accessing HKPropel is included with all new print books and some ebooks. For ebook formats that don’t provide and access code, one may be purchased separately.
