The Cycling Anatomy continuing education course teaches you how to improve cycling performance by increasing muscular strength and optimizing efficiency of movement. Based on the book by Dr. Shannon Sovndal, this course shows you how to design training programs based on the understanding that complete balance and strength are the keys to successful and injury-free riding. Cycling is a full-body activity, and each area of the body plays a vital role in distributing your power to the pedals, controlling your bicycle, and preventing injury. The illustrations and descriptions in each chapter show you how each exercise applies to cycling and include exercise variations to help you keep the workouts interesting and challenging.

Whether your clients are recreational, intermediate, or professional riders, this course gives you the tools to empower them to improve athletic performance.

The course includes a study guide containing a syllabus and chapter learning activities to prepare you for the 25-question continuing education exam at the conclusion of the course.
